Bundoora Residence kitchen with a marble waterfall island, whitewashed oak joinery and brushed brass fittings

Bundoora Residence

Not a refresh but a full reinvention, Bundoora reworks a family home from the inside out around a soft, warm palette. Whitewashed oak joinery and smoky oak floors set the tone, lifted everywhere by dramatically veined marble and brushed brass. The kitchen is the centrepiece — a sculptural marble waterfall island and full-height splashback, a brick-framed window borrowing character from the original home, and an integrated butler’s pantry just beyond. A built-in study nook keeps the craftsmanship working for daily life, while marble-mosaic bathrooms, freestanding baths and brushed-brass fittings bring a spa-like softness upstairs. Warm, tactile and genuinely transformed — proof of how far a renovation can go when design leads.
